Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: your email address (there are no passwords: you sign in with a code or a link we email you), or your Google account email if you sign in with Google.
• Your order: the photo(s), the verse, the name and stage you chose, and the resulting video.
• Payment: handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status and the last digits of the card; we never see or store the full card number.
• Technical data: a sign-in cookie, and basic logs such as IP address and browser type, used to run and protect the service.
• Usage data: a random anonymous ID stored in your browser, and simple events (which page, which step you reached, your country, device type and where you came from), linked to your account when you are signed in. We use them to see where the site breaks and to improve it. There are no advertising trackers. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask first. You can change your analytics choice at any time; doing so deletes the ID.

What we use it for

Only to make your video, take payment, prevent abuse, give support and keep the service running. We do not sell your data and we do not use your photos to train AI models.

Who processes it

To make the video we send your photo and verse to our AI video provider (fal.ai, which runs the video model) through a short-lived private link. Template videos are rendered by kie.ai, a video-generation service that receives your photo the same way; we have not confirmed how long it keeps what it receives. Before a photo is stored it is checked by an image-safety model run by a third-party provider, which receives the photo for that check. Payments are processed by Stripe. Our hosting runs on Cloudflare. These companies process data under their own terms. We are still confirming how long our video provider keeps inputs, and we will update this page when we know.

How long we keep it

• Photos are deleted as soon as your video is made or fails, and in any case within 7 days.
• Finished videos are kept for 30 days so you can download them, then deleted.
• Order and payment records are kept as long as the law requires.

Recordings made in the free recording tool stay in your browser. They are not uploaded unless a feature says so.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or close your account, through the support page or by email to support@rapgen.ai. If you are in the EU, UK or California you have additional rights under local law; ask and we will honour them.

Children

rapgen is for adults. We do not knowingly process data about anyone under 18; photos that appear to show a child may be refused.
